One Pure sequence for example 1, 2, and 3 without joker or else you will get full points, i.e.80 points. One more sequence with or without Joker is compulsory. The remaining cards can be sets of 3 or 4 cards. You can form a trail as well, i.e., 3 or 4 cards of the same point value with a different picture. For example 3 cards of 7 with different pictures (for e.g. 7 of hearts, 7 of spades and 7 of clubs). The player with the correct show gets 0 points; others get points that are in total of the card value which are not in sequence or trail. For example, a player was left with card value of one king of diamonds, one 10 of hearts and one 7 of hearts, so in this game, he is going to get 27 points in total. The winning player gets a Reward Amount = (Total Points of all Losing Players X Points Value) – (Rake + GST).

The target is not to collect minimum point value, but to make a correct show as quickly as possible so that your opponents don’t have enough groups and add up the most points, which are used to calculate the winner's reward amount.

What are the basic rules of 13 Cards Indian Rummy?

To start 13 Cards Indian Rummy game with 2 players we need 1 or 2 decks of cards. Both options are available in the game lobby. If 2 decks are being used, we have 52*2 cards + 2 open joker cards so in total we have 106 cards. We shuffle both decks together and then a toss is done to know the gameplay order. Once this is decided, cards are dealt. 13 cards are dealt to each player and remaining cards are placed in the closed deck. One card is picked and opened as the joker card and the next card is placed as the open deck card to start the game.

After the game begins, a player may pick a card on their turn from the open or closed deck of cards. He or she has to discard one card as well to the open deck. The player has to finish this process in their allotted time (30 seconds + 40 buffer seconds) only. Each player has to continue with the same process turn by turn. Players can sort their cards after picking and discarding each card or between picking and discarding the card (it solely on your gaming skill, we suggest you to sort the cards between picking and discarding so avoid any confusion). When you have one pure sequence without a joker and rest of your cards are melded in sequence or trails, at that time you should opt for the show option you’re your show is correct, you win the hand. However, if you placed a show request and your show is wrong, you will collect the full 80 points.
