First, log in to Rummy Passion. Once you have logged in, you can select the game type that you would like to play. You can try out a practice game or play cash games. You should select the type of rummy game, i.e., Points rummy or Pool rummy or Deals rummy. Pick a bet amount you wish to play, now pick a table and how many players you wish to play with. Lastly, click the join button to join a game table.

To join a Point Rummy Game – select number of decks you wish to play with and point value of your choice.

To join a Pool
Rummy Game – select **pool type (101 or 201)**, entry fee and prize you wish
to play for.

To join a Deals
Rummy Game – select **number of deals**, entry fee and prize you wish to play
for.

There should be at least 2 players joining a table. The down timer can be started for a game once the minimum number of players has joined – we use an 8 seconds down timer. A toss is done to set the order of play. Cards are distributed and then seats are arranged as per the game players turn. One card is picked as a joker card and one card is placed as the open deck card. After this, the game starts.

When it is your turn, the **green timer circle** will run clockwise. At this time,
you can understand it is your turn.

If you feel your cards are not good, you can **drop your game** if you choose to.
You will be given points accordingly. If you drop the game on **first drop** you
will be given **20 points**. If you are availing the **middle** drop, then you
will be given **40 points**. If your **show is invalid**, you will automatically
get **80 points**.

In 2 and deal rummy, there is no drop option available.

Cards in a continuous number series is called a **pure sequence** example ♠1, ♠2, ♠3, ♠4, ♠5, ♠6.

Cards in a continuous number series with a joker in it is called an **impure
sequence** example ♠1, ♠2, ♠3, Joker, ♠5, ♠6.

A set of cards with the same number and different pictures is called a **set**, for
example, ♠7, ♣7, ♦7 and ♥7
is a set. Please note that only the card number should be the same and not the the
symbol, i.e., **“Suit”**.

The joker is an **open card** that is picked and visible to all at the beginning of
the game. It is called an open joker. All cards with that particular number in all
different suits are considered to be joker cards. Apart from this, we have **1 picture
joker in each deck**. These cards can be used to make **sequences(impure)** or
sets of cards at any time.

If by mistake a player **drops the joker**, other players cannot pick up that joker.
In other words, no player can pick an opened Joker.

While playing, you have an option to **view open cards**. When you click on the
option at the right bottom of the screen. When you click on this button, you can see
the card which got discarded.

If due to some reason you are not able to make a move within the allotted time, you
will be given **30 seconds extra** to make your move.

After your turn, you should sort your cards and when you find you have one **pure
sequence**, with **at least 2 sequences in total**, you can click on show
option at that time. After you click on show option, the system will ask for a
confirmation. Once you give confirmation, your declared cards are shown. At that time,
you can check whether you have all cards grouped. When you have done that, you can
select the option of declare and make a show.

When you click on the show button it will ask for confirmation. If you confirm a
**wrong show**, it is considered a declare and you will **get full 80 points**.
So click on the confirm button only when you are ready for a show.

You can continue to Play Free Rummy Games as long as you want to. There is no restriction on it.

Rummy has been declared a **game of skill** by the honorable Supreme Court of India
making it perfectly Legal to Play Rummy for
Cash.

The Prize amount depends on the game. In points rummy, the reward amount depends on points lost by the opponent players. So, the winning amount is calculated as:

Winnings = (No of points lost by opponent player(s) * point value) – (Rake + GST)

In pool and deal rummy, it depends upon the entry fee and the number of players. It is calculated as:

Winnings = (No of player * Entry fee) – (Rake + GST).

Points Rummy is the fastest Type of Rummy Game. Each game is played as a single game. In Points Rummy, players play for points which have a pre-decided rupee-value. One winner wins all the cash at the end of each game. That depends upon the other players points. The winning amount is calculated as:

Winnings = (Sum of all points lost by other players) X (Rupee value of points) – (Rake + GST).

Each game played as a single game only. Points have a pre-decided Rupee value. Each player plays to collect a minimum of point value. If you find you do not have good cards, you can drop the game any time as per your choice. First Drop = 20 points; Middle Drop = 40 points; Full Count= 80 points. The maximum Jokers in a game with 2 players we have to use 2 deck of card in that you have 2 Printed Jokers in each deck so in total we have 52*2+2=106 cards.

TO WIN, YOU NEED:

One Pure sequence for example ♥1, ♥2, and ♥3 without joker or else you will get full points, i.e.80 points. One more sequence with or without Joker is compulsory. The remaining cards can be sets of 3 or 4 cards. You can form a trail as well, i.e., 3 or 4 cards of the same point value with a different picture. For example 3 cards of 7 with different pictures (for e.g. 7 of hearts, 7 of spades and 7 of clubs). The player with the correct show gets 0 points; others get points that are in total of the card value which are not in sequence or trail. For example, a player was left with card value of one king of diamonds, one 10 of hearts and one 7 of hearts, so in this game, he is going to get 27 points in total. The winning player gets a Reward Amount = (Total Points of all Losing Players X Points Value) – (Rake + GST).

The target is not to collect minimum point value, but to make a correct show as quickly as possible so that your opponents don’t have enough groups and add up the most points, which are used to calculate the winner's reward amount.

To start 13 Cards Indian Rummy game with 2 players we need 1 or 2 decks of cards. Both options are available in the game lobby. If 2 decks are being used, we have 52*2 cards + 2 open joker cards so in total we have 106 cards. We shuffle both decks together and then a toss is done to know the gameplay order. Once this is decided, cards are dealt. 13 cards are dealt to each player and remaining cards are placed in the closed deck. One card is picked and opened as the joker card and the next card is placed as the open deck card to start the game.

After the game begins, a player may pick a card on their turn from the open or closed deck of cards. He or she has to discard one card as well to the open deck. The player has to finish this process in their allotted time (30 seconds + 40 buffer seconds) only. Each player has to continue with the same process turn by turn. Players can sort their cards after picking and discarding each card or between picking and discarding the card (it solely on your gaming skill, we suggest you to sort the cards between picking and discarding so avoid any confusion). When you have one pure sequence without a joker and rest of your cards are melded in sequence or trails, at that time you should opt for the show option you’re your show is correct, you win the hand. However, if you placed a show request and your show is wrong, you will collect the full 80 points.
