As far as Kings XI Punjab’s performance is concerned, then the whole season of IPL was based on their collective achievements. Also, in the previous match, they had to go through a rough start against Mumbai Indians and continued to score low runs for 10 overs. Later on, the team became stable, but their fall of wickets didn’t slow down.
Moving ahead, Mumbai Indians still have an intimidating task of winning against Kings XI Punjab and stay alive in a bid to make it through the playoffs in this season of VIVO IPL 2018. At present, Mumbai Indians is holding a position of No. 6 and Kings XI Punjab is on No. 3 which is fairly good so far. As far as the eliminations are concerned, Kings XI Punjab will be competing against three teams in the upcoming matches, namely Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Chennai Super Kings. Although, the team is in a strong position in comparison to Mumbai Indians and is just a single win away to get through the knockouts but if they manage to win 2 matches, this will turn the tide in their favor.
How things will change is hard to predict, but it’s going to be an electrifying match for the Indian spectators to watch out for.
